Memo To Human Resources

Note To Self:

- Next time I start to feel crazy for writing a rock opera about an existential goat man, I am going to just ask the writer across the hall to tell me about his latest comic book involving "clones living in vast Tantric omniverses."

- I should never write a love song for anything other than inanimate objects and fictional characters. Or, if I do ever write an actual love song, I should retire it when it is no longer relevant, regardless of how catchy it is. Otherwise, practicing it will just make me really sad.

- I should get my gaydar retuned. Seriously. I think I just spent a couple of months having a little bit of a crush on a gay guy. Of course, he has to be one of the nicest, smartest boys I've met in awhile. And he can dance. Crap crap crap.

- Vegan butter is not the same as real butter. It should be avoided when making cookies.

- Perhaps blogging should be an activity that can only happen before midnight. Maybe deleting this post in the morning will be a good idea.

That is all.

Vegan "butter" doesn't sound good. At all.

  2. Vegan butter reminds me of Tofu. Ick.

More importantly - fucking broken gaydar. Isn't it ALWAYS the awesome ones that are unattainable though? However it used to be more for reasons such as they had a gf, or were too old, or idk. NOW it's usually - i could never ever have any interest in you at all. B/c i like boys too. fml.

  3. I think them being gay is a better reason for rejection than say "You're not my type." OR "I just don't want a girlfriend right now." (The latter type of guy almost ALWAYS ends up in a relationship within a month of saying this - with someone else).

  4. So so true Allison. But it still sucks when you realize you're infatuated with someone totally unattainable. *le sigh*

  5. Vegan butter? Doesn't sound tastey at all. As for blogging? It's a good time to blog whenever you feel like it. We love your late night posts. =]

  6. Matt - Yes, he's under 30 and as far as I know he's single. I'm still not completely sure about his sexual orientation, but I am 85% sure he's gay.

Allison - Fear not, I do not plan on deleting it. And I totally loved your playlist! :D

daniela - Yeah, the broken gaydar thing is the worst and has happen to me more times than I would like to admit. So tragic.

Stephanie - Yeah, I don't really recommend vegan butter. I borrowed some from one of my neighbors in a pinch and it didn't go as planned.

Thanks for reading my weird late night posts, everyone! :)
